Why you shouldn't be ashamed of your poverty

 It's often said that poverty is an inconvenience, not a shame. But I want you to feel more ashamed than uncomfortable. Desperation to get out of poverty is more necessary than anything else to get out of poverty. You should want to get out of poverty as soon as possible, not because it's uncomfortable, but because it's embarrassing.

You should pursue a life of work that is purely driven by your interests and passions, not by money. If you take poverty for granted, poverty will be your friend. It's not fair to live like that. I'm not suggesting that you make money because you're ashamed of what others see. I'm not suggesting that you spend your life chasing money. On the contrary.

I'm telling you to make money until you're free from the shackles of money. Do it the best you can. When you don't have to be tied to money, you can live your life to the fullest. There is no shame in being born poor, but there is shame in staying poor. The desperation is necessary.
